Music for noobs

So, can someone tell me how one goes about acquiring music files that can be played in-game via an instrument and what folder to put them in?

Righty-o here we go:

1. Head over to The Fat Lute and start an account. It's free and all you have to do from there is add to cart & download the music files (most are .abc format) that you want to play.

2. Secondly start a new folder called Music in your Lord of the Rings online folder. Mines in (C:) drive and in documents, but yours may be somewhere else.

3. After you've downloaded all the music that you want unzip it and put it in the new music folder that you've created.

4. You might want to rename the .abc files so that you can remember them easily. Thats up to you though.

5. When you get in the game equip your instrument and then press /music. To play the song you want you have to to type in /play name of .abc file here and then return.

6. If you want to play the same song with your friends or anyone else, first make sure that they have the same file as you. After that just follow the same procedure as I've just mentioned but this time add sync at the end of it. It will now say "Synchronized play is about to begin" & when you're both ready to start playing press /play start.

Basically an example would look like this:

/play lordoftherings-theshire sync
Thorri is now ready begin playing
/playstart
