Poss RP Event Idea

Hey guys

Whilst i was fishing today (yes i know, so not like me to be fishing is it ) i had an idea (yes it hurt, now bloody well pay attention) for an RP event for one of our meet and greets...

Now it's just a vague idea as i'm a bit thick at putting stuff into realisation but we all gotta start somewhere I guess.

Anyway it goes something like this : -

We're all gathered in the Prancing Pony drinking ale and smoking (if thats ur thing) and we're just waiting for the last two ppl, Argo and Ed, to join us for our meeting. As Myth's telling us yet another joke about his past life and keeping us entertained a breathless Argo rushes in to tell us he's just recieved news that Ed has been captured by orcs/goblins in Lone Lands and we must go save her...so we all form a raid and dash off (as most of us don't have saddles yet) to her aid and rescue.

Sorry Argo i always pick on u but ur used to me and are more likely to forgive me (*puppy dog eyes* please). Ed was picked as my 'victim' due to her high lvl meaning she wont pull agro and get attacked and killed by the mobs we're saving her from unlike i would (cuz we all know i'd make a fine damsel in distress.. NOT).

So yeah, thats my mad idea...what do u think? (be nice)

Superb idea!

This is the sort of excellent RP-Input I'm always happy to see, it gives us a chance to work together - both high and low levels - and it also advances the overall story and lore of The Neránians.

If Ed is happy with playing the "damsel" in this paticular instance, it will in fact make sense as far as game mechanics goes. At her high level she can /faint among them all and they'll pretty much walk over her without causing aggro.

Seeing as Ed is also Green Watch, she's likely to be out in the field alot so, again - this makes sense.

Sounds bloody marvellous! I'm up for it! Is there anyway we can make this a weekday at all? It's just that my weekends are gonna be choc-o-bloc probably. Loads of birthdays and what have you! If not I'll find a weekend when I'm free, although I'm not sure when that will be. Argh! Social lifes are a drain I tell thee.

Anyway, as it's Belle's idea I'll go with whatever she says.

I'm usually free the following:

MON: 14:00 - 21:00 GMT
TUE: 14:00 - 21:00 GMT
WED: Most oft not around
THU: Again not usually about but can make exceptions for events!
FRI: 18:00 - 21:00 GMT
SAT: As wed, but If I can make it on, its usually sporadic
SUN: 18:00 - 21:00 GMT

None of this is set in stone, ofc - but these are my "regular" gaming hours.

Sounds great. I don't have a problem being vicitim So count me in.

well as we do a regular meet and greet that everyone can now attend may as well make it fir then??

but as i have no RL to worry over and i'm not otherwise booked ant night is finr with me so long as i can have a couple of days notice just in case.

I'd love to join in but might my little Hobbit be too rubbish? Lvl14 atm but leveling as quick as RL allows!

Thats kinda why i said lone lands as ur nearly the right lvl to be there and we have enough ppl higher lvl to look after us so it should be a nice challenge but doable.

That sounds great. Sorry to be such a noob, I've only being playing a few days (apart from a solo 10 day trial many, many moons ago!) so refs like 'lone lands' are completely lost on me! lol

I appreciate your patience – I'll pick it up eventually.
